- SynopsisPatrick Smash was born with two stomachs, enabling him to break wind at will but without the control to prevent foul emissions at the most inappropriate moments. Driven to distraction by his son's unorthodox talent, Patrick's father leaves the family home. Things are no better at school where Patrick is taunted by the headmistress and bullied by his schoolmates. Patrick's one friend is boy-genius Alan, born - fortunately for him - without a sense of smell. Alan is an inventor and creates a pair of mechanical 'Thunderpants' to tame Patrick's wind. (Synopsis)
